Preparation & Reconstitution Instructions
Important: Follow all steps carefully to maintain product integrity and minimize contamination risk.
Step 1 – Preparation
- Wash hands thoroughly or wear appropriate protective gloves before handling components.
- Ensure all materials are laid out on a clean, dry surface.
Step 2 – Sterilize Spray Device
- Bring a pot of water to a boil.
- Disassemble the nasal spray device into top and bottom components.
- Place the glass bottom portion into the boiled water.
- Turn off heat and allow it to sit in the water for 5 minutes.
- Carefully remove and place on a clean paper towel.
- Allow to air dry for an additional 5 minutes.
Step 3 – Prepare Components
- Remove the cap from the vial and clean the stopper using standard sterile technique.
- Open the saline solution.
Step 4 – Add Saline to Spray Device
- Pour the saline solution into the cooled bottom portion of the spray device.
Step 5 – Reconstitute Product
- Using the syringe, withdraw approximately 1 mL of saline from the spray device.
- Inject this saline into the vial to reconstitute the contents.
- Gently mix until fully dissolved.
(Exact saline volume is not critical—use sufficient amount to fully dissolve contents.)
Step 6 – Transfer to Spray Device
- Once fully reconstituted, withdraw the solution from the vial using the syringe.
- Transfer the solution into the spray device.
Step 7 – Assemble & Prime
- Reattach the top portion of the spray device securely.
- Prime the sprayer by pumping until a consistent fine mist is produced.
Step 8 – Storage
- Store the prepared nasal spray in a refrigerator.
- Keep out of reach of children at all times.
